The Rangely Rock Crawler Park became reality in 2005 when a group of 4X4  enthusiasts in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management and other area stakeholders such as the Town of Rangely and Colorado Northwestern Community College developed the 560+ acre park. It is the first park designated for rock crawling in the state on BLM lands. Located in Rangely, Colorado, approximately 90 miles north of Grand Junction, the park is free to all visitors. Maps, rules and recommended equipment for each trail are posted at each entrance to the park. See the online map hosted by Colorado Northwestern for other regional details.
